Booking with Mr and/or Mrs Hemley constitutes acceptance of Mr & Mrs Hemley's terms and conditions as detailed below.
Booking
Full payment must be made at the time of booking. When the completed booking form and deposit have been received and accepted by us, we will issue an email confirmation.
Any binding agreement between us will only be formed when we send you our email confirmation and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on this page. We reserve the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of our email confirmation. If we do this, we will promptly refund any money you have paid us. If you breach any of these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. You should carefully check the details of our email confirmation and inform us immediately of any errors or omissions.
Transfers
You can change your booked dates up to 7 days prior to your arrival.
Cancellations
Cancellations more than 7 days before your arrival date: a full refund is given
Cancellations 7 days or less prior to check in date: forfeit of full amount
Miscellaneous Charges
Mr & Mrs Hemley reserves the right to charge your credit card for any items that have been removed from the property, or for the cost of repairs if any damage occurs to the property. Please note that if special additional cleaning is required (that is, due to carpet stains or the like) an additional minimum $50 charge may be applied. Smoking inside the units is not permitted and special additional cleaning charges apply of at least $100 if this occurs.
Maximum Occupancy, Acceptable Use & Other Terms
Mr Hemley and Mrs Hemley each cater for a maximum of two adults only. There shall be no more guests staying.
Pets are not allowed in the building or on the property.
Children under 16 years of age are not permitted to stay at Mr & Mrs Hemley unless prior authorisation is given by the owner.
Mr & Mrs Hemley are not to be used for any purpose other than holidaying. No trade or business may be conducted within the property.
There is to be strictly NO Smoking within the buildings of Mr & Mrs Hemley.
Quiet time is 10pm to 7am, we need to respect our neighbours.
Please note Mr & Mrs Hemley accepts no liability for damages or losses to or of personal property.
Internet usage: Your use of the wi-fi internet provided must not breach any applicable laws or regulations, and it is prohibited to use Mr & Mrs Hemley's internet network for the purposes of illegally downloading or uploading copyright works, particularly through the use of file sharing applications or networks. You are solely responsible for your internet activity whilst using our network, and your internet access may be blocked if inappropriate activity is detected, including excessive bandwidth usage.
Food Allergies – Your Responsibility
Any food products or beverages may contain ingredients that are a potential food allergen for certain people. Some food items may contain traces of nuts. We are unable to absolutely guarantee any particular food is free of any trace ingredients (e.g. such as nut traces).
Departure
You agree to leave the property no later than the specified check out time on your departure date. Late departure is subject to prior arrangement and availability, and may incur extra charges.
We ask that you leave the property clean, tidy, dishes washed or in the dishwasher and garbage taken out etc. The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition, as how you found it.
Repairs
We hope you will advise us immediately of any damage or breakages that may have arisen or where repairs need to be made. You agree to allow us or any representative of ours access at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs.
Cancellations by Mr & Mrs Hemley Halls Gap
Mr & Mrs Hemley reserves the right to cancel your booking in the unlikely instance that it is deemed to be in your best interests. This would include extreme bushfire risk, an extended power or damage to your booked accommodation due to storms or other means. In this instance, you will be given as much notice as feasibly possible and be provided assistance in securing alternative accommodation. You will be refunded in full monies paid.
